“ Such a great breakfast place! The food was so good, the staff were so nice and the ambiance was great as well! love this place!! ”
“ I've been to great white a few times so this review will be a culmination of all my experiences, mostly because this most recent one wasn't as great but I know they deserve better. This is honestly one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to, very chic interior and though it's a little too cozy outside for my tastes, they really were masterful with maintaining the aesthetic for outdoor dining. (Except for the picnic tables, those are just uncomfortable). Big fan of the service. They're always kind, patient and accommodating even when they are letting you know you only have 90 minutes so if people are late, they don't get an extension. I'm fine with that...show up on time or order to go! I digress. Always great service and great Ambiance but the food is hit or miss. Everytime I've ordered the chicken sandwich it has been great and though it wasn't my main dish on my last visit, it was a favorite at our table. The items I did have were at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum. The Banh mi was overly spiced. The sauce was way too overpowering and killed the whole sandwich and I usually like spice. I can't even remember what was in it. My friend who also tried this dish did let me know to share that it was not an authentic Banh mi experience. We also ordered a couple pizzas for the table. The Truffle fungi pizza was a hit but I only tried the smoked salmon pizza. Where the Banh mi was was overly flavored, this fell flat, like a palate cleanser. It was very bland to me but honestly it could've just been my tongues reaction having just experienced the Banh mi. So why 4 stars and not 3 or even 2? I've had awesome experiences here before and I know there are some really amazing dishes on their menu. My friends also liked several items. Big fan of their crispy chicken sandwich, their kebab and the steak. I just happened to have 2 items this time I wasn't fond of so steer clear. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and decent dining experience if you make the right choices. ”
“ People have been telling me for years how much they love Great White and now I've been twice in 2 months! Great service both times and was lucky enough to not have that much of a wait - came 10am on a Saturday first time and 11:30am on a Friday the second time. Both times only waited 15 min or less. I've only tried a few things from their menu but loved everything I've had: Breakfast Burrito, Salmon Mezze, and the highlight - Crispy Brussel Sprouts. The Brussel Sprouts might be my favorite of all time - the flavor is incredible! Salmon Mezze had a hearty portion of salmon which was great to have since it was one of the pricier items on the menu so I feel like I got good value! Super cute decor inside and the outside seating would be nice for summer. I did see heat lamps out tho so maybe not too bad. Also dog friendly all around! Pro tips: If you download their app, you can earn points per dollar. Lots of free 2 hour parking in the neighborhood streets behind - I usually go for Lucerne Blvd. ”
“ Great White This restaurant describes itself as an all day cafe so the menu starts with breakfast food to sandwiches and mains. Walked in for a late Sunday afternoon lunch, crowded and lines as always for its terrific food. Servers were very busy but managed to be attentive serving plates of food ranging from scrambled eggs, pizzas and sandwiches to nearby tables. The brightly lit dining room with very comfortable seating was buzzing as always. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich topped with slaw on a bed of sliced pickles and light sauce with a generous side of french fries. The sandwich was made with a really nice brioche bun. ”
“ We came on a Saturday night for a late dinner and there were plenty of seating. Parking was also quite easy but I can see it being busy during rush hour. The server promptly took care of our drink and food orders and food was served very quickly. Ambiance was also very romantic and felt like I walked into another country! What we ordered Daviola Pizza - the BEST pizza. Savory, flavorful and a bit spicy. Bolognese - noodles were cooked to perfection and they had a lot of meats. Probably second to the best bolognese I've ever had Mushroom fries - this was so unique and everyone loved the dip. It reminds me of kettle chips! ”
“ This is my favorite restaurant for brunch and pizza. I've been this place multiple times. But I'm always avoid going busy time. Pet friendly restaurants. My favorite menu is shrimp pasta and pizza. I also loved the house spicy sauce, if you like spicy then request them you want it. If you seat outside, serving is kinda slow. I like this place interior. Modern but felt like South Asia style interior in my opinion. ”
“ Okie dokie. I've been to the Great White in Venice Beach years ago, where Alfie Allen walked in while I was having CORTADO, by the way, and was SUPER excited to find that they opened another location here in Larchmont. Wow! The aesthetics on this cafe... mwah! So this is more a restaurant than the coffee shop that I remembered the old Venice Great White. The hostess assured me that if I want, I can just order coffee and leave or I could order just the coffee even if I decide to sit down. Super chill and non-judgmental. There was no line to enter, but you have to go through the hostess. There was no wait to get seated. Our server handed us our menu as soon as we got seated. Well, I was already here so I might as well eat something. Got the Great White Brekkie and the egg was a legit omelette; not scrambled egg. The CORTADO is super delicious, creamy, the perfect temperature, strong and not tart at all. Larchmont looks like it will never have enough parking spots but we were able to find one right on the street using the meter. ”
